Your customer site

The website we build for you ships with no cookies at all by default. Your visitors get no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.

This site and your account

When you sign in to manage your site we set one essential cookie to keep you signed in. How long it lasts depends on whether you ticked “Keep me logged in”.

If you arrived through somebody's referral link we set a second cookie so we know who to credit. If you connect a Facebook page during setup, we set short lived cookies for the length of that connection and no longer.

None of these are used for advertising and none of them follow you to other websites.

No third party tracking on your site

We load no third party analytics and no advertising cookies on the website we build for you. Nothing follows your visitors anywhere.

Google Analytics runs on kitso.co.uk, which is our own marketing site, and it sets nothing until you agree to it. It is never present on a customer site.

How we count visits without cookies

Visits to your site are counted with a daily rotating one way hash rather than a cookie or a stored network address. The privacy policy explains it in full.
